Through their Wadaiko performances, the Bangalore Wadaiko Club hopes to introduce the Japanese cultural art of taiko drumming to as many Indian audiences as possible, and would be grateful if you could watch them and cheer them on!

"Sawagi" is a Japanese classical folk song which originated during the Edo period when Yoshiwara was Japan's most bustling entertainment district and cultural center. It spread throughout the country as a traditional Japanese song, and is now performed as a standard dance piece. Kanapon is a 4' 9" solo idol whose special skill is the robot (dance style). She is a dancer and choreographer who has appeared on the famous Japanese TV program "Music Station", as well as for performances by Puffy, Glay and Hyadain! She has choreographed performances for the famous hip hop duo "Creepy Nuts" as well! Kanapon made her Japan Habba debut in 2023, and she's back for something special this year!
